Perfect! Thanks Steve... I'd rather have you both racing though.

Jason. Good to see there's a lot of interest. Just hope we don't have to wait for 3 or 4 years to get something in the end users hands like some other potential engine manufacturers promises we've seen. If you decide to move ahead, it would be better sooner than later. All the best.
Definitely not 3-4 years, maybe 3-4 months. The cases are being cast now, we are setting up the sleeve chroming & grinding equipment in the next 3 or 4 weeks. I should have prototypes in 8 weeks for dyno & durability testing.
Hi all am i reading this correctly? Complete engines, Bring`em on, back to the good ol days.

Hello Jason:

My name is Joe Kratky. I am running 2 MAC-45 engines. Both have piston and sleeve damage. I would be interested in

MAC-45 piston and sleeves. I do not know what your price is? Please let me know when you have some P/L s' ready. My engines will run the way they are but I would like to have at least one spare P/L set.

Thank you

Joe Kratky

Here is an update on our progess. We should have 7.5cc, 11cc and 12.5cc(80) PICCO EXR piston/sleeves & con-rods ready by the end of May. I had to delay the complete motors for a little while, as my automotive OEM business requirements take priority over the engines. They will however be ready this summer. I will let everyone know once I having an expected completetion date for the crankcase moulds as these are the long leadtime (and expensive!!!) tools.

Right now I am not planning on making any MAC piston & sleeve sets unless someone wants to organize an order for 50 sets (per size) or more. I will have pricing in the next few weeks.

Will you be making the 90 picco blue head piston / sleeve sets aswell , i could use some.

Thanks

I want several rods for the PICCO 67 and piston/sleeve set.

Thanks,

Clint Chappell

No Mac parts, that figures.... I would almost bet there are enough people on this board that need Mac 45/67 Piston and sleeve sets to make a 50 peice minimum order for each? Common guys, speak up!

The only problem Eric is that I bet it is all blackhead stuff. You want sliver/blue.

Mike

i will take two sets for a mac .67 i dont think it would be to big of a problem to come up with enough numbers for the macs speak up and be counted

Let's see....I have 7ea MAC67, so 10 sets should be about right. I already have 2 spare sets for my 4ea MAC84's, so I only need 4 of those. But I definitely need about 8 sets for my MAC45's, and about 5 sets for my MAC21 IB's.

Jason, if the price was right, I could go for all 50 sets.............

NAHHHHH, Nevermind, I'll just wait for Andy to finish his runs....................I believe that he is close (within 3~4 months) I can get by until then.

Yea, but I've been hearing 3-4 months on Mac parts for the last 3-4 years. I understand all the issues with setting up new equipment and all that, and I'm not being mean, I really like CMDI products. But I'm still not going to hold my breath. Who ever comes out with replacement MAC parts 1st is going to do well with them.

I know that pistons just came off the Mazak, so sleeves should not be far behind. If you have a good sleeve, maybe CMDI can make a piston to match it. In the mean time, shop the used market..........

It"s too bad the nitro engine demand has shrunk as much as it has. Not much has happend since we saw those wooden A/A boxes. Like i mentioned before, if there was real money to be made producing replacement parts for MAC engines, replacement parts would have been available along time ago. Piston and sleeves, rods, cranks etc take big money to manufacture, for such a small demand. Do you buy the machines to make the parts in house, or farm out the work, for $60.00 + per hour?? Unfortunately, that is reality. Richard D
