That would make sense but when I brought it back the radio worked fine so who knows. I plan on playing with the switch some to see if that went bad or is starting to short or something. It’s one of those heavy duty waterproof toggles. Right now I just can’t look at it.
It is not the one from the build thread thank God. This is another one I bought as a test bed for mods and setups. The one from the build thread is safe and sound.

You should have seen it before we bent it back! It was REALLY offset! Thanks Troy, it’ll be back next year. Now I’m all PTSD about this radio thing. I’ve got to get to the bottom of it.You can test the offset strut theory now
Everything went great…until it didn’t. When I get to work on this thing, I’ll let you know what pieces I need. I found more damage up front but not as serious as in the rear.
