OK, I was wrong but I think I know now. If the car wasn't part of the target, it musta been the Ratwell's down in jax. They just needed a trailer that the doors would stay shut on - LOL!
Now THATS funny right there

Mike, that was my thought at first as well when I heard about it. After reading some more, seems everyone went through the line at least once, some several. In Nascars words, they where pushing the envelope on set up and knew it. Most of the cars that failed today , also had issues on Thursday when Nascar opened up the tech line and still failed to get the car into the window- so to speak- The teams KNEW they where pushing it, cant blame em at this track- gotta have very little bit

They waited until late in hopes that NASCAR would push them through Tech and not really check them out so that they could hit the track for the qualifying game. That didn't work out well for 13 cars.

Not really sure how to take what happened. most all of the teams that were left behind have a plan to fix what they are caught with quick and move on. Was it a way to cut the size of the 1st group and send all the teams home early that had no points, or was it a message that the group qualifying is a bad idea?

I think it was more of a "get yo shxt together" message from NASCAR. If you can't get it right the first time, there may not be enough time......all the crybabies made me laugh! IF they had not been trying to cheat, they would not have had an issue. Self inflicted wounds, IMO.

Last week at Daytona they raced under last year's rules so this week they are under the new 2015 rules.

Still wasn't a secret, the teams knew what was up. They pushed too hard & got bit, nobody's fault but their own. No sympathy to be found here!

Fans of the Black 3, New special tonight at 10pm EST on Spike TV. I am Dale Earnhart.

Thanks for the heads-up, by the way Ray. I appreciate it. I recorded it and watched it the other day. As a long-time Earnhardt (Sr.) fan, I learned a few things, and I've seen it all. Really good show.

Great finish for Martin today. Was pushing hard for him when he took the lead from Harvick but like he said he didn't have enough to hold him off. Looking good so far though.
