07-006RT - HUNTSVILLE MODEL BOATING ASSN.

Huntsville October Record Trials. (3 day event) Brahan Spring Park, South Lake on Drake Ave. 1/16 mile SAW and 1/3 mile OVAL. All IMPBA classes.

No pre-registration is required, event starts when system is up and operational, around 8:30AM. Plenty of space for tents and equipment.

Sp far the C outboard tunnel record is history or will be along with the C outboard hydro recordwe have guys doing damage to those records and David Hall is pounding away at the A hydro record close but no cigar yet. Today was perfect weather

Mike Talley 3.5cc O/B Stock Tunnel 2-lap oval time 27.69 seconds. This is Mikes 5th time in a row to break this record. This time was obtained with a L Y N X - CK hull.

Mike also ran aganist Eric Betty's current 3.5cc SAW O/B Tunnel record and made a pass at 3.784 seconds (59.46 mph) but unable to make a back up pass.

I have found a new builder for the L Y N X hulls. before we will be taking any new orders for these hulls, 2 outstanding orders will have to be filled first. Details about the new builder will be posted on IW soon.

Ron Drake C tunnel 1/3 oval 26.756 sec

Mike Talley B sport tunnel 1/3 oval 27.690 sec

David Hall C outboard hydro 1/3 oval 29.423 sec
