Ok. #5. That makes sense but I would have thought too hot for 60%. Hey, whatever works.... ;)
Ron, USUALLY all I run are HOT plugs with my 66% nitro. But this year I had to step down to a little colder plug due to the temperature and humidity we have had. But on a usual year I run a hot plug all year round :)

Jr, if you guys are running the plug that came in it....that's the original. John and I put almost a gallon on that one. I would stick with the turbo plug.
Mike, we actually switched turbo plugs from what you guys were running.

Ron and Mike, we actually ended up running one of our own turbo plugs, the NovaRossi c5t. It's a hotter plug than what Glenn sent but the engine liked it ALOT better.

Did you guys get those cases. The pro was like new. Hope that helps Tony too.
Yes sir it did thanks ;)

Here we go fellas, here's one of the videos of the new engine from yesterday's testing at the pond. This 57.2 mph pass was from like our 4th run using an Octura x442. Later in the day we shortened the pipe down some and broke the 58 mph barrier using the same prop. Enjoy!

I'll post another video in a little bit that's a little longer.

Video #2

This one was with an Octura 1440. The boat didn't handle well at all with it and nor was it as fast as the x442. We leaned her down just a little too much trying to get the same speed as the x442 but it just wasn't there. If nothing else, we got a sweet blow over shot at the end of the vid when the boat finally lit off right as a gust was coming across the pond.

Great videos guys!! What a nice pond you have! It looks like the little motor is not affraid to turn some RPM...it sounds good. That is cool even when you got it lean it kept running and even lit back up again.

Thanks again for testing this thing for me!

Dang Jr,

Thats strong. Would have been faster if you or Brandon had been driving instead of the old man!!!.... :p

Visions look very comfortable at those speeds. John Knight has one of the fastest heat racing 20 tunnels when its spot on, that I have seen over the last year. Even the colors on your boat are close. That run you posted looks a lot like his tunnel right out of the box. Thanks for sharing.

Im looking forward to having that motor make a few stops within D12 in a few weeks.... :D
