Just makes it nice to be edit original post in the for sale section to better track who bought what, what is sold and what is not or mark something out of stock at top of thread you have up.

It usually takes me about six edits to just to get the spelling and language right over a period of ..... two days. Lol. Everytime I reread a post I realize it needs something fixed.

I was on a site the other day where I saw something very interesting.

There are a few here in Dis 3 NAMBA. we where the first to run twin gas in a race and make a class for them. thy have gone by the way side here this year. there are 4 in are club one in line RICO and two Tex Mex and Wayne's boat.

Thy never really lived up to expectations and a very costly to build.

But thy sure do look impressive.

Ross won the twin shoot out in Charleston two years in a row with his running against Nitro twins.

The fasts boat dose not always win.

Harry and Ross at Speed Master tried to make a 5/16 setup but it did not work out. Harry ran his boat almost every wekend testing for some time and gave up on it.

Since the shaft was necked down from spinning the collet I welded the jam nut in. I use woods oilers so I can pull motor and install shaft from engine side and leave in boat for lubricating. I believe this should solve the problem

Mike I paid $1089.00 plus $50 shipping. With the in line twin motor and full race mod by Gizmo the build approaches $3000.00. I solved the collet problem leaned her out a bit and on a very rough day Saturday she came on pipe really accelerated and it blew off. I was real impressed with the potential but need more time on better water to comment on the top end speed and handeling. At this point which is realy I am pleased.

I have been running my new Rico twin for a couple of months. Some of this isn't hydro specific but inline twin specific. Twins tax everything from the starter to the prop nut, The RCMK starter is complete garbage. Throw it away and use a zen ez starter. The flywheel must be real tight and use red Locktite. Plug gap no more that .015" The rubber mounts take a real beating. They flex alot. (one of the reasons you need a big gap between the drive dog and strut ) Change them often.

The engine will move foreward enough to close up the carbs a bit. Discovered this with a GoPro onboard.

Aeromarine style collets and twins don't mix, They will slip and burn up the cable and the collet. The Zipkit hd collet is a must. Forget the oiler, Heavy grease will extend the life of the cable. The next thing is cooling related, Zipties area must, . Be sure the smallest holes are in the rudder fittings. Everything after must be bigger. I split some hose cooking one cyl....more than once.

I won that first race with a cat. There were not enough boats to make a class. I entered my 50" Expresscraft cat. As you said.. The fastest boat doesn't always win. Second place in the first three heats. Last heat i was only boat that started.

I still have that boat I beat the crap out of it. Here's a onboard video last weekend. I have learned alot from video like these. You can see the water line coming from the head swelling as the speed increases

Andy, yes i think that would be appropiate. Once I got the collet problem was solved and she was able to hook up it really took off. I got a glimpse of whats to come and it does loook good.

Andy, was out this weekend trying to dial it in with Doug Twaits Jr. Dropped the strut and got her to stay on the water but it slowed her down to where it runs like a good single. I have only two props to test with a 3316 and a 3218. I think I need more lift on the prop and it does not seem to really rev like it should. Do you have a prop recommendation.
