Tom Kelly will be taking over the D-2 Directors job for the next few years. Thanks Tom for taking on the position and a belated happy birthday.

I am sure I am not by my self to say the IMPBA just needs to mirror some of the NAMBA on some issues, really

Tom,

Congratulation on the new postion of District Director for IMPBA D-2. Also to Chris Rupley for stepping up from D-2 director to the presidents position.

Looking forward to the 2013 boating season.

Bert Dygert

can someone tell me why they dont allow electric starters in the gas class? I see our members are older and many have a very hard time with the pull starters.I know of people leaving the gas boats because of this problem. just throwing something for peaple to think about.

Chris will be a great persident, new and fresh ideas, from a awesome person, we need someone to swiftly move new ideas to rules, and lock down some rules and get this orginazation set up and rocking down the road to the future, sport 40 needs attention now, and many new gas rules too, ya ready Mr. presdident?
Gee whiz Corey didn't realize we on the IMPBA board did nothing but sit on our asses for the last 4 years, thanks for letting us know that. <_<
There are set procedures for submitting, voting and implementing proposals and the process takes time. Come to think of it I don't recall see your name on any recent proposals submitted to the board..................

Maybe you should print out the last 4 years worth of Roostertails and read all the stuff we members of the BOD didn't do.

Yeah you struck a nerve with your post.

I think they do, you just can't remove the pull starter. You need to buy a collet from Zippkits that has the starter pulley machined into the collet assembly.

only in the thunder boat and super sport class you must have a pull start installed on your engine, you can still use a pully and belt to start though in all gas classes as far as IMPBA
