Need Suggestion

I am looking for some input as to what prop to start off with in my Whiplash with a UL 1 motor. Battery will be 4000/ 25c Thanks Jerry

42x55 grimracer is a good safe place to start. Alot depends on how light your Whip turned out.

Brian it is not lite it was a converted Nitro hull, so it is a little on the heavy side. What do you think?

Are your intentions to use this hull for racing or sport running?

Start with the 42x55 that Brian recommended and take some temp measurements. If the temps are within reason after a 2 minute run, then work your way up... checking temps as you go.

FWIW, I have found that 45mm Dia props are about the limit for heat racing. I run a m445 on my Whip in oval trim. Mine weighs 6lbs 5 oz RTR.
