Hey Guys,

Gotta give a big THANK YOU to all the guys that worked so hard to put the Huntsville race on. I had a blast, very challenging water and some really great competition.

Also to the hosts and racers, thanks go out to all of you who made us "toy boaters" :lol: feel welcome.

A great bunch over in Huntsville, I know I'll be back.

The Atlanta contingent also had a good time. I wish there had been some other "gassers" in attendance, but we enjoyed battling it out w/ one another all the same. H'ville has a beautiful race site and the wether was gorgeous to boot.

Its a Fine running HONDA Generator & Tuned Up for the Nats in 3 weeks....... I hated to see you guys come in late friday & Set up Right Under it..... the Only thing @ Huntsville that was KICKING MORE AMPS than the Honda Was...... Paul`s Electric Boats.... Good race Lamar See you guys in Huntsville in the Fall...... REMEMBER we have the (FAST 8 F Mono) Shoot Out for another 63 inch traveling throphy in the fall Race....... Charles Simmons currently is the 2005 Winner of that BIG award....... But it will be BACK @ the lake & the War on the Water will contuine. Enjoy the Summer & come back to Huntsville & Race in the fall...... Joe W

I had a great time even though it was an awful lot of work we have to get some more 'working' club members! It was really neat to see the FE, Gas and Nitro all running together and being equally competitive. Hopefully this idea will catch on in more areas.

Had a Blast racing with you and everybody this weekend Joe! Had some problems after my Transmitter went bad on Friday and I had to reprogram all the settings into a new one, some of which I got right and some I didn't. (reversed steering is really wierd) :blink: Yes you suckered me BAD on that last start! I have no idea why I slowed down and killed my engine rather than go ahead & jump the line and race you. First year back Brain Fade I guess.

We'll do it again Soon I hope!

Well...... I just checked the Schedule and the Huntsville Fall Race is the same weekend as the South Carolina Champs in Walterboro which is a District 13 Points race which I am attempting to do well in. Looks like I won't be there in the Fall.

Charles is not going to give that thing up w/o a fight. I think he has grown quite accustomed to looking at it...

Hopefully we can get back over there to see how it all shakes down!

I was really impressed with Paul and Kelly's Fast Electric boats. The look really good on the water. We had 10 sport 40 entered and 9 showed up. Sorry it took so long to get the rounds in. We just didn't have enough help to get them in any faster. maybe we can do better at the next race.
