The sport 40 racing was fast in spite of the hot weather, all the boats were running well. Chuck your Oberto was fast. I was working on passing but I drove up your roostertail.

No one told me that was a scale final race for the trophys?

Thought it was the third round race, If I had known I probaly would have screwed that up but I passed everyone and got the first, Timex was running real well.

Yes it takes a very fast boat to overcome a jump start, you got within a half lap of me at the end.

I was lean that whole heat, I really didn't have anything for Phil or Mike. Just got the start and ran carefully. I got it cleaned up when I got home, Thats when I found out the third channel servo had quit. Just my luck, I was turning that knob rich the whole heat and doing nothing. haha!! Ken
