A bit of a squeeze in the wagon! we had 5 riggers in ther for Finley and it was "cramped"

I wonder what his reserve is - $500 Au is below reserve <_<

Maybe not. If his reserve is $500AU & there are no bids it will still say reserve not met.

Hey Tim, and you could still use your fm receivers as back up. You know how good they feel! LOL I still think if you bought it you would get at least $100au each back on the extra 2 recievers. Those receivers are not the big bricks like I use, mine are 8-9 channel ones, those have the same footprint but half the height. They are about the height of a crystal.

Hey Plus you could do a deal to Kris on your XR3 and come out smelling like a rose!!!!

Very interesting information was found out today guys...

I made a trip upto Yarrawonga for the day (4hour drive there mind you ;) ) and a few guys were running XS3 radios and said they were find in boats...some had their Rx's wet and just dried them out which made them work fine...

One guy also said they Rx's have an LED on the board that lights up when there is moisure on it?

Anyway just another thing to think about...i am still leaning right onto the XR3 though...

Kris

Kris

were do they run in yarrawonga?

we go up there sometimes and i could run my boats there.

Theres a big race up there in November.

Finley boys run over there as well. Kris you should have brought your Tunnel to Finley! B)

Davo,

In the Water Ski Park, which is actually in Mulwala.

Mike, tell me about it  ...it went sweet yesterday most of them were actually impressed lol

I think this is the meet where tunnels need to come out and play!!!

It is one AWSOME venue for tunnel boats (some might say not wide enough) no weeds, barely any chop on a windy day...what more do you need ;)

Kris

Thanks for the info.

I have been out to the water ski park and took a look at the couple of lakes and i would agree that it is an awesome spot. Saying awesome for tunnels do you mean outboard or inboard.

Also is there an actual club there or is it just a bunch of guys running their boats?

plus when is the next time they are running there?

Davo

Kris and Davo, yeah the waterski park is awesome, my summer sport is skiing and we do a couple of tournaments there a year. Their are about 12 guys from Yarawonga (sp) and the Finley guys travel there to run with them once in a while as well.

Davo,

Awsome for outboard tunnels...because of the minimal chop...therfore (sp?) all boats will benefit from it :) the whole day they kept saying 'bet you dont get good water like that down in Melbourne mate!'

They are the Yarrawonga/Mulwala model boat club (i think that is correct) they are an actual club...REALLY nice guys

Mike, i may take a leaf out of your book and join their club, even though it is 4 hours away ;)

Off topic, Mike do you barefoot?

Kris

Hey Kris, my local club being Adelaide is a 4 hour drive as well!

I have Barefoot but it is not my thing, somehow explaining the bruises from mid-thigh to mid back is just not my thing. Tumble turns suck. I just slalom, it is easier on the body. ;) One of the guys I ski with jumps as well but not for me ether!

Do you ski or foot?

Davo, naa not bothering me ;) Not that i know of...i know they definately run the first sunday of the moneth, and MAYBE the 3rd? i am not exactly sure on the second time they run...

Mike, Nope i dont ski or foot, too slack...my uncle however (46 now) took up barefooting at around 40 LOL he still slaloms a bit but he doesnt compete at all (i dont think)

Hows this, he was barefooting a while back...he had been going for a while and decided he was getting tired so he dropped off, but ashe sank into the water his right leg bit into the water and twisted somehow, breaking both the bones in the lower leg (OUCH!!) it then cause a clot which got stuck in his lungs...and they say you cant break bones barefooting at 42MPH HA

Kris

LOL i thought you were being serious before i opened it up PJ hahahaha

On another note, i bought a JR XR3 radio because i found a nice 2nd hand one ;) so now i am in business!

Thanks for the help guys! it was much appreciated!

Kris
