We here in the states refer to that as "Buck Fever" or the inability to let go of the trigger! :p

FSR comes from German it denotes the type of class. Its exact translation is this

F = ferngesteuert

S = Superhet

R = Rennen

O = Offshore

As some of the older racers maybe can see is that the wording is quite old now and it started when we could race more than 1 boat at a time in the late 60s

I'd have thought Offshore meant offshore, rather that buzzing round the same inshore lake used for FSRV and FSRH (hydros).

There were couple of Seaducers with driver figures stuck on thev top but they didnt do too well.
