That hull is flat out tuned and smoking! Good Work.

How long of a hull is it? 29.5"??? And what would you say you are doing as far as MPH?

Hey, it is 29.5", and in heat trim its probably in the 52-54mph range, tho I have taken it faster with the P-limited setup (ul-1 motor and controller) at my own pond. Expecting 60+ with a regular P-setup. The way the boat is designed the faster it runs, the more it lays down. Its funny, running wide open is the best way to run this boat!

Boat looks great.. What are they running for props on it?

Love hearing Lenny Blake CD'ing the race. Guess D19 is only running electrics at McKellips...

I'll take a hull for a nitro set up! :D

I LOVE shape of theof the sponsons (tapered in the rear)!

Would you be willing to make me one?

Please pm me with details.

Mike, I'm interested! Also if someone backs out of one (295). Can I have Dibs?

Thanks,

Tim

Hey Mike, I think if you added just a couple of sponson formers along its length. Like you have in the center section and just supply the wood. That would make one great WOF tunnel kit. If you where to do that, you can put my name down for a few kits.

Mark, I just sent you a PM.

About the sponson formers, believe it or not, that is what I did with the GS480 Gas tunnel to make it a kit-able boat. I never really thought about kitting the PS295/NS295 or the QS370, but I guess something like that could be done. The best place for a sponson former would be right where the ridepad breaks to curve up away from the water. It uses one set dihedral angle all the way forward anyways, so its nothing major. Let me stew on this, and I really want to test the hull as a nitro version first before offering it. I know the FE version works, and works really well, but I don't want a product out there that is not spot on!

Talk soon, Mike

Just got the Nitro version about drawn up. Only thing left to do is draw up the sponson formers so its an easy kit to build. All the top center former deck was redone so a nitro radio box can be added! More info to come, Mike

This will be a great hit with the builders Mike. There is nothing like a good WOF hull. Tough as nails, light and easy to repair if someone T-bones you.

Will a radio box be included in the kit?

Thanks,

Mark

Mark, I am going to work on a simple radio box design today with an uncut drop in tray. I made the radio box area 7" long x 2 3/8" wide. Should be plenty of room? Mike

OK, I have the radio box designed. Now, Could someone tell me what is a common servo setup for a nitro hull. Would a 3rd channel servo opening be helpful? Some dimensions for the steering, throttle and 3rd channel servo openings would be great. Other than that, I have it how it needs to be! Mike

OK, here is a pic of the radio box layout. The Servo Tray show has a standard size servo shown in place for the steering. Now I need some help figuring out something for throttle and 3rd channel. Let me know some opinions! Thanks, Mike

Mike I think what you have would work just fine. It leaves the door open for guy's to put the rest of there servos in where they want them. Great work Mike!

Well, Here is the final radio box. I will leave the other 2 servos off the tray. Lights, did you get my email with address? Let me know! Mike
