I'am in the prosess of trying to build the 1947 Miss Pesp V and would like to see if any one out there might have some pictures of this boat?? I have one that from a tradeing card set I bought at the unlimited races in San Degio many years ago..Thank.s..

B) hey roy if you come to detriot,and go to belle isle, to the dossin great lakes museam,you can see the real thing there,right as you walk in!

also some artifacs from the edmund fitzgerald are there as well

Sorry guys, that is the Miss Pepsi, not the Miss Peps V. Miss Pepsi was a later boat that ran into the mid 50's.

Thanks Guys but like Harry said wrong boat..This one is white with a blue bow and the rear of the boat look like an old style indy car..Might have been just sawed off and added. hahahah....

Hey Roy,

I think I seen that hull on an episode of Monster Garage! Jessie J dropped an old Indy tub in the back of a ski boat and slapped some front sponsons on it. On the 7th day the test was a flop and he blew it up :lol: :lol:

Good luck finding pics....I'd love to see it on the water.

Thank's Dion any and all info is welcome.. And Glenn Thank's buddy ..And if you seen this boat it look just that,ahahahahhaha...It was about 20 feet long and had what look like a 1940 Indy style rear car body for the driver..It won a few races in it time at over 100 mph..Not bad for it day..The model should have the quilitys of a mono and a hydro..At least I 'am hopeing...I found one more picture of it in Vintage Hydro ... My gold is to have it ready for next year...

Thank's Randy but that is one of the pictures I have..I put it in my scanner and inlarged it to see more detail..plus the one off vintage hydro.. That helped in showing a little more detail..

you did some digging, that's a really nice website!

Roy, take one of those old Pinkert hydros you have and drive an old pine wood derby car up the rear and you'll have your boat all built.... :lol:

That thing is bizarre! I'd love to see someone build that critter and run it. Getting the CG right ought to be the biggest challenge.

Yea Ron it going to be a bit of a challenge to get this boat going,but I like the challenge.. I think if I set it up like a mono I'll be some where in the ball park..The picture that I had of the boat didn't show verry much detail,but with the new web site I was gives it should make thing a little easer to build..I had to put the project on hold for a bit,due to halping a friend ..We're building the Pay N Pac rigger..Started Sunday eve..
