The lite, premium and pro versions are a relatively new separation from MGM. It used to be just the X2 and last year they came out the X2 Pro last year. Trying to honor warranties with boat related uses will be challenging. Boats can run at high loads longer than cars, planes and heli and although we have liquid cooling it places higher thermal demands on the controllers. MGM has done a pretty good job with electronic safeties reducing failure due to over current and over temps. The downside of the safeties is the MGM's cannot be pushed much beyond their rated limits.
