My thoughts exactly
sanecrazy1 is his handle.I'm going to search rc universe I can't get the link to work
I believe the boat in Ray's picture is an Aeromarine "Mean Machine", which was the forerunner of the Sprint Cat series of boats that Remy made. Nice pic of Aussie Bill Annabell,Not sure but think this is a Madame X ?
please check post #14.i said it was a COMP Cat and i own 2 of them.(no i will not part with them)the original molds from Remy burned in the warehouse/shop fire many years ago. i lived down the road from them and used to go there from time to time.would love to get my hands on that really big twin cat (red/white) he made.mold is also gone.there was one hanging up in Bruckner Hobbies in the Bronx (NY) but the guy would not sell it,mike.Dick's right - it was an original Aeromarine 'Competition Cat' with a Picco 80 in it. That was the first year I visited the states to race. It would have been either the Indy Unlimited or the IMPBA Internats at Slidell. Was a pretty quick boat for the time.
Bill Annabel.
