I want to get rid on my stock am radio from aquacraft ,I've lost signal two times now and it is costly rebuilding my hull. whitch radio system do you guy prefure., i would like all your opinions . I think some of the problems with losing signal was water in the servos but the radio has to go .

the fatuba fassst system is awesome! i have the 3pm never a problem, even when it was fun of water ;) (would not recomend that lol)

Futaba 2.4Ghz FASST System.

you can choose the 3PM, 3PK or 4PK.

I use the 3PM.

if you want more bells and whistle with more than 10 boat/vehicle setting memory the 3PK.

if you want those same bells and whistle but with 4 channels and more than 20 setting for boat the 4PK.

the 3PM receiver uses a single antenna (i use) which setup correctly is flawless.

the 3PK receiver uses a dual antenna(one inside the receiver the other outside).

Futaba for sure....but NO radio system will last if the radio box is not kept dry.....getting a new radio is only part of the problem. You have to have a dry radio box!!

Futaba fasst 2.4 sure does rock.. Tower has them for 179.00 right now..good deal.

But tower also came out with a 2.4 for like 79.99..

Not sure how it is but thats also a good deal..

I looking for a radio that has a 3 position 3rd channel for my rock crawler as well ,does the 3pm or 3pk offer that ?

Yes,

all 3 models have programmable/allocatable switches.

the 3PM are switches that you can push forward or backward, some don't like the switches has they find it a bit slow.

the 3PK and 4PK uses rotary switches which a lot of people prefer.

it all comes down to how much do you want to spend?

are you ever going to use all the bells and whistle? and

which one do you prefer.

the 3PK is nice and the 4PK is one hell of a good looking radio, in the end for me the 3PM was all I needed.
