Hi Guys,

On Sunday June 12 my 1/8 scale was involved in an accident. It was the final heat of the day. I was coming down the front straight, I lost radio and the boat came ashore in the hot pits. Steve Enneper was getting ready to lunch Robin Hallam scale boat and was hit hard in both legs by my Bud 1/8 scale. It all happen in a split second. All the racers came to Steve's aid instantly, he was in a great amount of pain, I knew right away his leg was broken, I was in shock I could not believe

what had just happen.

Through it all Steve spirit was the unbelieveble, I talked

to Steve today and he is feeling better but sore, he'll be off from work for at lease six weeks. I'd like to start a fund for Steve to help him get back on his feet. Steve is self employed and now he is not able work. Any donation to help Steve will be

highly appreciated. This is something I feel we can do to show our love for our

fellow racer, I feel really bad about this accident, Steve is a good hearted guy.

Again I'd like to thank all the racers who came to Steve's aid......Teddy D.

Please direct all donations to;

Hey dudes.. this is the Squeaker we are talking about here..

Squeak has been a racing partner of mine for 15 years and loves anything RC.. Squeak can take a dreary day and by adding a little "Reverse Action" spin that sucker around in a heart beat.

I challenge all IMPBA clubs to donate a portion of there race entries to Teddy and Squeaks cause.. I say Teddy also because if you know Teddy he feels very bad and only wants the best for Squeak. This would help the Squeaker and it would make Teddy feel a ton better too..

Get better buddy.. we need to get you back in the shop as soon as we can..

I spoke with Squeak today and he is going to have to do an overnight stay at the Hospital.. Seems the injury is infected and he needs to receive IVs to battle the thing.

On behalf of the Squeaker... thanks to all..

I was at the london race on saturday, i met steve for the first time at the pits. His strut broke right off and that was the second one in two days. I intoduced myself to him and he seemed like a really nice, down to earth kinda guy. We looked at his boat and couldnt see anything out of line, I suggested for him to take the cable off and check the shaft. Sure enough , it was bent and i guess the vibration of the prop kept breaking his struts off. We tried to get a quick fix for his boat, but he had to scratch it for the day. We left on saturday night and told him goodbye, and it was nice meeting him and i still have that last look on his face, full of smiles. too bad such a thing had to happen to him, and it had to be teddy out of all those people there. Steve i hope you feel better soon and i hope to see you at our races next time. Mike, count me in for some kind of donation. Wish you well. Nick

As the EMT was loading him up to haul him away, my daughter and son approached him to wish him well. With a big smile on his face, he said he hoped to see them @ the Northern Nats in a few months. I'd like to make sure Squeak makes it back to London for that race.

Many of us have suffered similar set backs and I can tell you being around friends doing the things you like to do most is the best medication.

OK guys.. lets supprise Squeak with a showing of I waters freindship.. for the next week or two lets give this a try..

Here is a link to a squeak avatar i setup..

How do I go about adding things to the raffle list? I would like to donate some prop shaft assemblies and maybe an engine.

Hey Guys,

I'm here with Squeak sitting beside me. There's a few things that he wanted me to put on here for him:

Hello Everybody, Squeak here....everything is great. I'm feeling as good as can be expected (except for crawling up and down the stairs)! I'd like to say thank you to everyone who was involved from the second the accident happened. It's only an accident, they happen. I would like to send a huge thank you to Teddy Dudley...he was very concerned and has continued to check on me daily. He's a great guy!! Also, a big thank you to the Hallam family who are taking care of me and driving me back and forth to the hospital. Thank you to my good buddy Mike Z. and anyone else who has been helping donate raffle items and giving donations...this is very generous and unexpected. Boat Racers are a real class act!!!! I can't say thank you enough to everyone, and I won't ever forget this kind of generousity...it's hard to come by these days. See you at the Nats....Reverse Action!!

ROCK ON!

Squeaky

Thanks guys for all of your support. I'm taking care of him as best I can!! He's in good hands!

Robin
