So this is a Lauterbach hull I bought off the Hammonds boys late last year. It has modified sponsons and a wire drive installed. The motor is a bone stock 26 zen. I bought this to really run vs trying not to crash like the beautiful one I did for my lady last year for which I did a build thread. This boat is getting dialed in nicely. I use one of Daniel Place’s oilers on it and it works really, really nice. I use bar and chain oil as the lube currently. Open up the valve on the oiler, let it flow until it drips out the strut, and close it up and install shaft. Really easy. This hull will get a paint job coming up. The video shows it doing some laps yesterday. Top speeds were between 61 and 64 consistently all day .
