You were saying the 3 port being bigger area is better than the 5 in the .12 engine? If that is the case, will the 3 port P/S fit and work well in the 5M case? If so what is the cost of a complete piston, sleeve, rod assy?

Thanks Ron

I would like to report testing has been progressing well and getting closer to a production engine. Many of you have contacted me after seeing Aaron's posts on Facebook about the NR 91's. We should have another 91 in our hands in a few days and Martin Truex, who has been instrumental along with Glenn on development of this new engine, will be taking it to Huntsville for the SAW's there to make a couple of passes. Pending these tests, hopefully we will have some news to share before the end of the year. Once we get to that point, I will notify those that have shown interest in helping us test a couple of final release engines and eventually be in line for "initial release" discounts to help us put this new beast "through the ringer". This is very exciting news for us all!!!! Stay tuned!!!....

Brad,

I have copied the link from the website below that shows the parts breakdown of both engines. You will notice the only difference between the tow engines is the piston and sleeve so yes, you can order either the 3 or 5 port combination and it will work with the rest of your parts. I have the 08622- Piston/Sleeve Coupling for the 3 port- $85 and the 08623- Piston/Sleeve Coupling for the 5 port- $95 listed. There are also combinations that include the rod, wrist pin, and clips all available on the website for purchase. Thanks.

Mike,

Glenn mentioned the hybrid to me that he had special ordered and I can get them for you. If there is still a lot of interest in this engine I will keep one in stock.

Allan,

Here is a pic of the REX helicopter version of the engine. Just add water cooled cap and rear exhaust. I can post pics as soon as the production engine configuration is finalized. Thanks.

What about the 08677 assembley? Does this fit the 5M and does it work well? I would take this to be the hot rod set-up? Do you have a remote needle for the .12 and the price? Performance info is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Brad

Brad,

The 08677 is for the 12PLUS-3SCT, different case, different motor. It's one of the 12 motor's that Glenn was carrying. I will try to get him to chime in on his experience with this motor. Most everyone I know uses the OS adjustable needle for their 12's. Be sure to use the needle with the ring around the knurled area (on right in pic below) as it is the small block needle. I will also start carrying the remote needle assy listed below that is made by Rody Roem as soon as I can get a shipment from him.

Ron,

Still waiting on final pricing, but probably around $45 without the OS needle. They are really nice bases.

Nova 91 with new 90 pipe myself and Ian

Help Nova with...
Yes. I knew you were testing one as well Aaron. You making some SAW passes with yours in CA? Martin Truex is helping us test here in the US and hopefully the feedback from everyone will help Novarossi inch closer and closer to a final production engine.
