K&B 45 Pro Outboard Head with new 48 P&S set up by Rod Geragthy. This package also comes with a backup new K&B 48 P&S ready to use when needed and a manifold if you want to use a pipe. Never used since receiving back from Rod. First to say I'll take it get's it. Will ship to lower USA48. Got'ta move this!

Is the .48 Piston/Sleeve not illegal in NAMBA B and IMPBA D Tunnel classes where the maximum displacement is .45? I remember this being an issue years ago so I was curious if that is still the case of if the maximum displacements have been increased. The .48 was a slightly larger displacement configuration for the K&B ducted fan engines. Just want the buyer to be aware if that is or is no longer the case. I may open a discussion on the topic in the outboard forum. Thanks.

Many larger events run E-Tunnel and this would qualify for it.its common to run a 47 or 48 at national events as the 67 k/b for the MOST part is a slug

The ducted fan .48 has the same bore and stroke as the pro red head .45 outboard. I emailed K&B about this and they told me that they just call the ducted fan motor a 48 it is actually a 45.

This motor is legal, in IMPBA events, as a class E tunnel motor. I described it as a 48 so everyone should know. Both sets of P&S's one in the motor and one spare are new never run. The head is ready to go. Thanks!

I'm going to take this off "For Sale" for now until I confirm Buddy's comment above with K&B. If it indeed is a 45 then we have a legal IMPBA D motor ready to go with new pistons and sleeves. Will repost once I receive confirmation. Thanks!
