Jim Johnson shaves just under a second off the D O/B Tunnel 1/3 Mile Nitro Oval record with a time of 23.25 seconds. Jim's running his Seismic Aftershock with Novarossi power and Seismic Sauce fuel riding the tune of arguably the best tunnel boat tuner Jimmy Johnson.

I would like to be one of the first to congratulate Jim & Jimmy on breaking the record. Hopefully we can shake your hands in person tomorrow as Jay and I are headed to HVille for NAMBA trials.

How long was it that I sold you some boats? You have really evolved into the kings of model tunnel boat racing.

Congratulations

NICE... Great Job jimmy! Mike is on his way up there and he just came over to pick up some fuel and you should have seen his face when I told him that he was going to have to lay down a 23 second flat time to get that record! LOL. He said THAT'S STRONG! I said you better know it is.

GREAT JOB JIMMY!

Lorhing, it's been 20 years...1999 was our first race season. I was just looking at a photo plaque in the garage yesterday from October 1999 and I'm holding that first boat.

I got to see this run also and I must say Jim did some pretty good driving for one of us "old guys".

Great job Johnson and Johnson!!! So happy for you guys and to see Novarossi now on top for 20 OB and 40 OB records. 67 is next...;) You guys rock. Thank you!!!
