Late to the discussion, tons of great advise,  many have already said it and to add my 2 cents to the discussion, the best advise I would share is that no 2 boats are ever exactly the same, to that end I am a big proponent of adjustable boom tubes.  Every boat requires fine tuning for flight and balance, without adjustability you are left needing to do surgery to your hull which generally sucks. Many advocate the double sided tape way, tried it and found with adjustability built into your hull you should rarely every need to do major hull surgery.  Anyway, those are my thoughts, good luck with the final steps of your build!

Huge shout out to Joe at ZippKits! He hooked me up with one of his prototype 21GT stands and a newly designed glass cowl, which fits like a glove. She’s pretty much ready for paint. That’ll be coming soon.

Chris,

I would clearcoat the boat and use some decals if I was you. Too much paint will add more weight than you think. 1817’s will be a good starting propeller on your set up.
