You have no need to apoligize. I watched the second 757 hit the WTC on TV, as well as the towers going down. I saw the damage to the Pentagon before the government decided it was too much for us to see first hand on TV as well. Being a former member of the Navy, I too was both shocked and mad as hell that a group of radicals under Bin Laden could pull it off for starters, only to learn later that our own government agencies had been tracking the ones that actually hijacked the planes and did nothing to prevent it. Needless to say, in my opinion, President Bush should have gone in within hours and took out Bin Laden BEFORE he went into hiding as well as his whole organization. If anyone has to apoligize, it's our own government for being stupid and letting it happen. Tom, if this offends anyone, feel free to remove part or all of this post. It's a very sore subject for me :angry:
hi lynn,i REALLY TRY to never to get involed with politics and realigon,becaus these were the TWO REASONS that 9/11 happened!! i lost 9 people in the trade center-including one of my best friends (since i was 5 years old)! almost lost my brother-he ran back in to save a woman in a wheelchair and grabbed her as the building came down! i watched and smelted that place burn for 2 weeks.lived only a few miles away.i am a x-milatary guy(like many others on IW) and have lost friends over seas from duty. i live now near SHAW AIR BASE and have spoken to some of my neibors that have been over there recently and they told me that they are fighting 2 wars, 1 religous and 1 politacal.i for one belive that we should have finished this back in 1991 and 9/11 would have never happened!! but unfortunatlly we pay for a gov that does not give a sh@t about anybody but themselfs! as far as bin ladden,he was in the snippers scope of the speacial ops many times and they were told to stand down.when the morning of 9/11 happened and bush was told what happened, the first thing he told the secrect service to do was to get bin laddens family out of harms way because we buy a lot of oil from them. we. even that we knew that "SADAM HUSSAIN" was involed with all of this, we still bought oil from him a few months later.my dad and a few uncles were speacial ops guys and told me before i went into the service that there were about 6-7 countries that needed to be wiped of the face of the earth 25+ years ago!! i know a few people that were not fond of ron ragan as president, but when there was a problem with a gut named "momarKaddafe, he told he to shut out or we will "nuke you"
. and that was the end of that.unfortunatly we will never (in our life time) see an end to this and i reall feel sorry for guy's like jullian conde and others that

DID ANYBODY EVER NOTICE THAT THE BUILDINGS "PANCAKED" ON THEMSELFS?? THAT IS CALLED "CONTROLLED DEMOLITION" LIKE WHEN THEY DEMO A OLD BUILDING.THEY TRIED THIS BACK IN 1993

IT HAS ALREADY BE PROVEN THAT THE JET FUEL DID NOT BRING THE BUILDINGS DOWN, MOST OF THE FUEL EXPLODED OUTSIDE THE BUILDINGS! sorry to ramble on, it IS and will ALWAYS be a sore subject with me.i have a tatto dedicated to those that lost there lives on that day and have to look at it everyday.in closing, this situation in this counrty is never going to change unless people finnally get off there ?? and do something about it, but everyone is (llike me) worried about paying there bills,but if they would have thought like this in the ww2
