Of course it's copyrighted. It has been since 2006 when I started writing it. The notice is at the bottom of every page but it seems that Ron Byrd doesn't seem to care about the law or someone's hard work. He is a lowlife scumbag thief.

Without picking sides, I can tell you who had the claim staked first..........

Ron Byrd had software for generating heat sheets and maintaining race results when I got into the hobby some 16+ years ago. I still have the CD around my office somewhere. He vanished from the hobby for a number of years. Upon his return, I spoke with him on a number of occasions about a number of topics. One of which was re-development and modernization of his software. This was long before I had ever heard of Bill Britton. Just sayin'.

It would appear that, at the very worst, the two parties here have arrived at the same point by different roads. It may or may not be that either party was aware of the others' efforts. Claiming theft and slinging of mud without a true smoking gun is a pretty shaky bridge. In the words of Walter White, "It would be best to tread lightly."

Bill your going to have Clubs posting on your site so don't fret. Mine I would say will be those that already use my software and my software is free on site for those clubs that want to use the site.

Brad yes I had to step away for the family and it took around 8 years to get back to it, missed it a lot but knew I would get back to it.

I still supported the clubs that have my software as best I could during rough times and I have continued to improve the program through the years.
