I have no problem with Hitec. At one point i blew a bunch of servos but they promptly replaced them. I keep a spare set of Hitec servos/receivers now to cycle them through the warranty program.

I use a Futaba Transmitter...so I can’t speak about their transmitters.

Not too big on the Hitec radios myself. They don't have a very good feel. It is like compairing "Forged in China" to Snap-On. They are also a big supplier of RTR radios; what does that tell you...

airtronics is more common for the RTR isnt it? snap-on is like the ferrari of tools though.

Hi-Tecs are good radios, I just haven't bought any (OK, I do have one that came with a RTR kit) because they used to be kind of butt ugly. That is finally changing.

i havent seen any old hi-tec radios, except for the one im using for the tunnel. its not ugly, its just plain, and pretty small compared to the newer ones
