It still has a little way to go but Its getting there.

"VERY VERY NICE"

The tub looks really short. What is the distance from the TE of the front sponsons to the transom?

Don ;)

I thought it was a little longer than what you guys were doing.

The tub from front boom to transom is 21", from sponson tip to transom is 24".

It will gain about anothe 3/16 when I finish the spoons.

David,

What I ment was the distance from the trailing edge of the sponsons (the last part that hits the water) to the transom. :D The reason I'm asking is your Macs pipe goes right to the transom. I know you're probably going to shorten it but my pipe stops about 7" from the transom!

Don :)

Geeze Don you really got an eye for details. I didn't notice that. I was to busy looking at the cool sponsons.

Ok from the trailing edge to the transom is 15 1/4".

I think what may be throwing you off is that the pipe is not cut to lenght, and that it is a side exhaust and not a rear exhaust engine.

I bought the motor when all I was running was zenoah boats and did not want to have to buy a starter and batteries. After I got it I got a good deal on a 67 seaducer with a starter, now I would like to buy a better motor.

Here is what I did today.

First sponson just needs the bottom done, then I can copy it to the other side.

I will do the rears next, not to sure how the are going to come out. they are going to be taller than they are wide.

I also made my motor mounts today.

After being delayed for a few days, today I was able to get some building done.

Let me know how I am doing... PLEASE. ;)

Sorry the wife and I had our first child and i have been short of two things, time and money.

I still need to get servos so I can get everything where I want it, but for now it is on hold.

I hope to finish it soon.
