Hot Shot Sprint Set Up Tips (if you would)

You got it Rod.... the sprint comes outta the mold with rounded edges, I had two of them, one was great, the other I had tom run over with his truck one day...... theres an article in one of the rcboating books on tuning up the hot shot sprint..... JD, of course..... regardless of what you do the boat will ride with a nose high angle of attack, and are prone to blowover in excess of 40....... theyre a great learning boat by far, I enjoyed mine....... good luck Mike

When "trueing" the hull, what wood would you guys suggest?

Thanks guys, I'll give that a shot. Josh at Precision Boats said the shafts came in last week, and they should be in the mail. Weather is finally starting to stay great. Looking forward to getting on the water again.

i used 1/16 lexan film it works better than wood.but you have to be careful when lanching it the lexan can slice your figuers.also somthing esle you may what to do cut the bottom out of that boat and get that dam expanable foam outt then you can rib it to make it more ridded using picese of wood 3mmx3mm across from one sponsom to the other then use celluose foam in it and the lexan 1/16 sheet to cover the bottom back up. we used expoxe and cyano glues to this.
