The SUV and trailer are loaded, at least with all of my stuff as the kids are a little slow but trying to hit I-94 around 8:00 AM after the morning rush. I won't be bad once I get out of the county. I'm hoping to be there by 10:30 to 11:00 at the latest.

I was just talking to David "Jetpack" Brooks on Facebook and said that they're making noise down at the lake.

The only snag right now is that my IMPBA cards haven't shown up. I printed out the latest membership list and have my check stub to show that I paid. I called John Equi and said that if there is any question to call him. The things will probably show up in the mail tomorrow afternoon with my luck!

I have some videos of the third round of sport 40 Interesting way things went.

Bryon did get first place, Eric lost the run off to Steve so Steve was 2nd place and Eric got third.

When I have time I will put the video on utube.

I wrecked my sport 40 in the first race so I was done. Going wide at the start and hit the dock about 55mph.

Thank you to everyone that made an outa town NAMBA guy feel so welcomed. Thanks Mike and Jeff for the generous use of your pit. Thanks to the few and hard working people that spent so much time to make this a great event. Next year I will certainly return with Mike Hughes in tow this time. Hey Stu , can I sign up now for next year?

Would like to thank Stu and the rest of the Indy Model Boat Club

team that made this another Great Model Boating Event. The city

of Hobart and everyone that makes this event possible a Big Thank You!

Cannot wait until next year again. All of my customers and racing

friends that I keep meeting there every year I would like to thank you all.

Was the water very rough? Not a lot of finishing, so I assumed that it must have been rough... Hope it wasn't CRASHING...

The final score for multi engine hydro is not correct as we actually ran 4 rounds in that class only because we started Friday out running them first. Buckshot finished with 1500 and I had 1450, knew that buoy cut in round one would come back to haunt me.............. they always do. Regardless a BIG congrats to Buck winning the class as he's one tough competitor and a really good friend. B)

This is two years in a row I've come up short in multi, last year Stu got me by 100 and this year I lost to Buck by 50 ..... you boys better watch out next year. :D

I think Don is saying he has lost the last two Races by a Buck 50?? Sxit I would have a problem with that too!!!!!

Thank you to the City of Hobart for such a great site and local support.

Conditions were difficult at times. But, a great location, good friends, and lots of fun.

Big thanks to the Indy Club and the City of Hobart for a Great weekend, regardless of the weather :) :) :)

Well that was FUN. Congrats the the Indy Club and the City of Hobart, you guys know how to do it right!!

The Clock Tower trophy made it to the Lone Star State late last night and is now enjoying some Southern Hospitality.

What a great race in Hobart! The weather may have effected the number of rounds we ran but the racing didn't get any better than what we had this year. Thanks to the City of Hobart for everything they do to make the racers feel welcome and for giving us a first-class racing venue. And another big thank you to the Indy Model Boat Club. They ( along with a lot of volunteer help from fellow racers ) ran a good race and made the right calls. It only gets bigger and better each year!

Congratulations to Buckshot Shackleford for his performance with his boats and winning the coveted Clock Tower trophy. The last heat on Sunday ( Twin Hydro ) that featured Buckshot and Don Ferrette was something to see. I was calling for Don and Buckshot was coming! It was as exciting for me as it was for the drivers, I think. Don did some great driving to hold Buckshot off for the win in the heat, but came up short of winning the class. Watch out next year............

It is always nice to see and visit with friends that you only see once or twice a year. The guys and girls from the West Coast and the Canadians..............it is great to see you make the trip to come race with us. I can't say enough about what a great group of people you all are. It is what makes this hobby so special for me. Enough said for now. Back to the shop to make some more fins...................

I dont think I can put into words The Hobart Experience brings. 1st class racing< more boats per class then most or all other races I attend in a year. Meeting New and seeing old friends. Or the whole friggin town becoming family while you are there. Until you have made the trip you have not seen the Disney World of R/c model boating...... Awesome job everyone and I mean everyone Impba,Namba City Of Hobart and Joe Smo who's eyes and ears were glued to the pond all weekend.... Cant wait for another one

Buckshot, first class. Now the target is on you. You had to be there to experience this. Next year, less boats and more rounds. A BIG THANK YOU to all the volunteers for helping us put this race on. We could not have done it with you!

Stu
