Boats per mile hey? I am going to California with only three boats. I can't keep up with you guys. You may have to race each other at this race if you do well. Again,

lots of new people entered and I am concerned about the regulars entering. Really want to get 4 rounds in and boat count is important for this.
You have three guys that have double entries in classes, Mark Bullard is one, he will be running two twins at once, I have to see that HA :D
Me too. I talked to Bill Britton about the double entry stuff and he said he would fix. Also, when adding a boat, it is picking up the $7 registration fee again. He said he would fix that also.

I've got my room and my entries completed. Check is in the mail. Reservations at the hotel went smoothly. I'll see you in Hobart.

Mines in.

What about people that don't do "online" stuff?

Can I get a manual(pencil) form to give to them?

Thanks

Jerry
If you know them just get their information and enter for them. Then give them the mail in sheet you printed out and they can mail it in with a check.
I did that for the people that don't "do online" stuff....if I can do two races using rcRacingEvents and score them too...anybody can use it. It is easier than filling out the paper and mailing it. jj

Lots of entries have been received by mail. Thanks. Please print the online form when sending entry with shirt size, it helps me set the tabulations. Those have called (Graham, Gary + others) with entry are in. I just need to enter on the site. If you can do this online, it helps me. Right now I am trying to get a bunch of stuff ready for NAMBA nats, so I will not clear or tabulate for this race until I get back. I did a "Ferguson" to my twin yesterday during practice and now I am scrambling. Don't know if this boat will make to the Nats. There is the side out of a paddle boat that is gone that ended my last run. It was running 92mph at end of break in. Looking at the motors, more prop is necessary. Motors look like that have not been run.

Stu,

Are you sure the pipes aren't too long still?

So the last set worked quite well?

Thanks For The Info,

Mark Sholund

I've already got that week off for the event as it's much more than just the racing!

Last year I had a nice spot behind the library next to Ollie and Ron Jefferson where we had a great view of turn 6.

If any out-of-towners need a place to pit I may have some room and storage available in my trailer.

No Red Roof Inn this year? I didn't see the motels listed yet but I know that Stu and I weren't too happy with our rooms. Mine wasn't all that clean and had used soap plus not enough towels, the 2nd and 3rd nights were better. We also requested smoking rooms and didn't get those either. The Comfort Inn I think is next door to the Red Roof and looked much better. Hooters is across the street but lots of good places to eat in Merrillville. The food at the site wasn't half bad either!

Motel update. Last evening, there were only 5 rooms left in the block at the Hobart Comfort Inn. We have another hotel at Hobart that is offering a discount at $64/night. It is the Econolodge and their phone number is 219-942-8555. It is right next to the Comfort Inn. Tell them you are with the boat race for that rate.
