More good news. According to weather.com, the race weekend is going to have some great conditions. Highs in the low 80's and lows in the high 60's with partly cloudy skies.
Yeah, I know that it's early and how the weather is around here but hopes are high right now.
Nice Video JP. Come on down and shoot some more! I'm bringing 2 cameras with me and my new video camera does OK vids for a cheapie. Nothing or nobody will be safe from it Saturday night! :lol:

I don't remember what the park rules are pertaining to the use of alcohol and the motel being a ways down the road I may not imbibe but don't take my cup of lemonade! 
There may be some liability issues involved if somebody has too much fun they may miss a few heats while we're bailing them out.

Hell, we show up were "Rock Stars". The'll give Stu the Keys to the City. Keep a low profile think we'll be OK, if not, we'll get the Mayor to give us a special permit.

They will be some body there that doesn't drink and can take some people back to the hotel.If not they have rooms back behind the race site and it's a free stay if you know what I mean.

Yeah, that's the Hotel Graybar that I was typing about earlier, it's just a mere staggering distance from the lake. Something tells be the boats are going to be really loud Sunday morning! I worked in the hot pits at Camp Dearborn (Milford) and after a night of drinking with the boys it was a rough day.......

Best thing to do is grab a lemonade right away and keep the cup for your "fuel mix". There's no drinking allowed in the park, ie beer cans.....
Thanks for the compliment Ron. That was probably the first memory card I filled up shooting with the new cam. I haven't learned how to swing it around yet.
Here's a morning race with the sun in back and I'm standing maybe 20ft to the right of the drivers stand along the walkway.
Bring good sunglasses for the afternoon the sun sets right ahead of the course. :blink:

Yes, we will be like Rock Stars. However, severe partying should be contained to the roof. I already know what the "Evil" team is planning. It will take your best "card table".
