Hello David, i read in previous post#37 strut is still 1/16th below rear sponsons. Try resetting strut so it is even with the rears. (less load on motor). See if Shoboat has any more of the ss H-5 props. Try one @3.1 cup, if Mark has any left. Double check front sponson AOL. Is the H-4 modified or? If all else fails, might be best to look at motor, as being the problem. Good luck, Richard

I'm still trying to get the hang of launching the boat. I think it more me than the boat or set up. Put the ski on the boat last night. Hoping this will help with the launch.

Bottomed out the strut adj think it still to low going to rework strut.

Should I cut the low speed needle?

I had the strut up all of a 1/8 if not more with the H4. Lowered the strut to get the 40mm props to hook up.

rechecked AOA Was at 3 redid all the measurements tonight got AOA at 3.5 and hight at 3/4 below tub. Rear ski at 1/8 above front sponson rear pad hight and rear sponsons at 1/32 above ski.

Have enough adj to set strut 1/8 above ski.
