We did run it several times yesterday, I finally got my turn and Wade had the controls once also. We are still playing with props and tuned pipe setups. Somebody took pix and maybe even a video. I don't know, I was a little busy at times. I tried out a narrower set of sponsons, 1-1/4" wide as opposed to the kit 2", they seemed to work out well.

I had trouble yet with my 7.5 tunnel so it really didn't get a chance to run it. The Speedmaster 21 was haulin' the freight, it looks like it will give the other "B" monos a decent run at the Internats. I stripped it down last night to get it ready for a fresh paint job.

I got 2 pics of the Hammerhead, but neither turned out very good. here is the best shot

I got an ok hammerhead pic i will post, workin right now so you guys will have to wait till tonight or tomorrow morning thanks to OBnut and wade for thier help on the way back.

Guys I have one hell of a time. A MUST DO AGAIN.

Nice pics wade, cant wait to see OBnuts pics tooo.

Someone should of taken end of day pics of us, we all had wet *****.

Dales tunnels ran very well, Erics Speedmaster, WOW ran fast, I thought that mac was fast, course never seen it run against another boat.

Ron what pipe were you running on that??

Someone should of gotten a pic of my starter box, there was another post about them, but my 12/24 quick disconnect plugs.

It was a fun day, not its good to see the faces behind all the names.

Great camera work. Those are some nice boats...looks like everybody had fun, nice weather too. Can you feel the envy growing over here??? :'(

:)

That is a Rossi Niagara with an Irwin quiet pipe in the Speemaster 21. I started the day with the Rossi quiet pipe but ran like crap so back on went the Irwin. The hull is outside now getting new paint on it then I will take it out to the store for fresh graphics. I think that we might have something for those MAC powered boats at the Internats!

Sorry CySlyde on getting your s/n wrong.

Snowdog, hopefully you will be back home again in Indiana (sounds like a song ;D) soon so that you can come up here or maybe we can make a road trip down there.

Ron,

Right now, my crystall ball says it'll be next summer barring any "unplanned" or emergency trips back home.

In the meantime, I'm going to build a couple WOF's and just get some time in here. I really need to work on my painting.

Later and congrats on the successful day.

Bryan

I was on such a high from yesterday that I forgot to report on my boat. When I flipped my hydro the second time it landed upside-down. Well when I got home, I inspected the radio box, & sure enough, I had a little water in it. So I dried it out. I decided to do an inspection of the bottom after I got my radio box buttoned back up to discover that the turn fin mount was cracked almost in half!!! I guess I am lucky that it was my last run of the day! That cheep Dumas bracket just couldn't handle the G's I guess. I will fabricate something at work to replace it.

Yea Ron I'll say you have something for the macs and all other engines. thats a nice combo you have, they are working good, I dont know if my subsurface is slowing it down that much or not. but damn that engine went good.

I may have to try that pipe and see, I am running the brown pipe on the mac.

and Wade, its not like it was just alittle flip with that red boat, it went over pretty hard.

SOMETHING about red boats that day.

I did a posting in the old site, the one before this one was updated on the "One more run" syndrome. I think I was talking to CySlyde about it yesterday briefly. I have never said those 3 words after I have learned what happens afterwards. That's when something breaks or otherwise goes to Hell and is the most expensive run of the day. I almost said that phrase yesterday but caught myself. I brought all 4 home mostly in one piece. :)

Yeah you touched on it briefly....... course you did say more than just things break... hehehe anyways it was alotta fun to bad my daily drver had to know i was going to spend money on something other than it (sigh) so for now i am just going to build the fine design force 21 and hopefully by fall or spring of next year i can get my self one of those slick nitros like all you guys had

no worries on the name Ron i knew who you were talkin bout

BTW.... I am not going to paint my boat red anymore, so any suggestions would be nice :D

Ok as promised the pictures, noticed that I got a lot of the back of Ron's head and wade rowing... hehe sorry so how do those arms feel? I'll start with the hammerhead, and sorry I accidentaly deleted the video of it so we'll just have to get togeather again so i get another one ;)

Thats it for now... I got a few more including some small vidclips if you'd like to see anything else let me know
