So while we may not be holding a full race we may be doing something else. After a lengthy conversation with the promoter yesterday he wants to work out a scenario where we at the very least will get a display area to promote model boat racing. We may even be doing a demo race a few times a day in between other events. This is all contingent on where we are able to set up. He is also willing to set up special packages for those of us that are wanting to attend the race and hang out on our display area and do some PR work for model boat racing. I am getting ready to submit a one-sheet to him in the next couple of days outlining what we would like to do as he has a pretty full schedule with 5 classes of boat racing and the wakeboard demos.
