Just glued the 2 halves of my carbon fiber scale boat together with West Systems Six10 epoxy. Really worked well. It comes in a caulk type cartridge and the epoxy is mixed in the nozzle (you can buy extra nozzles). You can lay down a bead and it doesn't sag or run and it doesn't have any fillers in it to add weight. It would work well for gluing decks down on wood boats as well. Supposed to be very sandable when dry.

Mike, think Rick B gave that stuff high praise.

That's what we joined most of our epoxy/glass Leecraft hulls with.

Just an update. It has taken a good 18 hours for the epoxy to really set up. I will probably give it another 24 hours before I attempt to sand it. Although it is hard to the touch, I think sanding it now will gum up the sandpaper. Sure beats the heck out of mixing up some West with a bunch of balloons in it. Ended up using far less adhesive with the Six10 to due the same job.
