Paint those bricks white! And in one of the last pictures on the ceiling I see louvers.....exhaust vent?

Yep, its a big honkin exhaust fan, thats why i want to mount all of my wood metal working equipment there

Havent thought about painting the bricks white.....that sounds like a huge pain. have you ever painted brick?

If you hose down the bricks a few hours before painting them they will not soak up as much paint. They can absorb a fair amount of paint on the 1st coat.

I bought one of those things to paint porch railings. The biggest POS I've ever bought, went on the trash pile a month later. It was even the "improved" model for heavier latex paints! :blink:
