I recently verified that CMB is no longer producing exhaust pipes of any type for the 67/80 size engine line hopefully it just means they are revamping for something better or are they planning on doing away with the engine also just wondering if anybody has any input or know how of any such thing

Same deal as Macs , but someone will possibly make a pipe to suit..
Wrong. It was not a matter of deciding to get out of producing, Macs ended when owner David McAllister unexpectedly passed (cool guy I spoke with him over the phone a few times). Mecoa bought everything to cherry pick what machines and tooling they wanted with zero intent of making those pipes again.

You have to consider the market for the 67/80 drum platform. There are only a handful of consumers that buy and utilize the platform in terms of a global scale. It may not make sense to cater to the small crowd from a manufacturers standpoint. Usa, Canada, and Aus are the general markets where the platform lives. That's a small crowd in terms of what the rest of the world consumes. It sucks, but the harsh reality is 3.5, 7.5, and 15cc are what sells on the global market. So support for the platform and accessories may continue to dwindle.
