For those that are interested… we had a club meeting today and afterwards a few of us drove over to the pond to see how things are looking.
Well all I can say is without actually going there and walking around to see it in person it’s really hard to describe the amount of earth that has been removed from the bottom of the pond. There is still a lot left to do but it definitely looks like they are on the downhill side of it. What you’re seeing in this video is the pond will be deepest near the pump. From there it looks like huge steps going all the way across the pond going up as you look from left to right. Meaning, the deepest part has been dug and the rest of it doesn’t need to be dug as deep. This translates in to less mud that has to be moved the closer they get to the right side (turn two). They are also adding fill and leveling the entire side where we all park. This will aid us in parking plus give us plenty of more room for pits. It looks ruff now but it’s going to be awesome for us shortly making this site better than ever to host great races!
