Finish Line Scoring

It has come to my attention that people have been downloading the Finish Line Scoring application thinking that it can be used as a stand alone scoring program.

This will not work.

The Finish Line Scoring application can only be used for scoring an event that has been created using the rcRacingEvents.com website.

To those that have misunderstood the purpose of the Finish Line Scoring application, I apologize.

Is there any way to make it a stand alone program? If so the TCMBC may be interested in it.

The scoring application relies on the website too feed it the event once it is setup.

Why would you want to work harder by doing the work of setting up the event yourself when the website does 90% of it for you?

Most who seem to have an aversion to it don't even understand how the system works. ALL who have tried it, say it is the cats you know what.

Heck, just read what Ricky Bearden put on the front page of the SOWEGA website this week about it after using it for the first time for their latest Grand Prix.

BILL BRITTON……… You are the most unselfish person in the RC Boating world.What a great scoring program you have developed and given to the RC world.

This program worked flawlessly all weekend and we would recommend it to every club.

Thanks for developing something even I can understand and use.

We use it for all our Tampa Model Boat Club Races and plan to use it for the upcoming IMPBA Internats in Charleston.

Can't recommend it any higher!!!
