Hey guys,
Diving more into head design, shape, etc. but was looking for input on characteristics seen from an engine with too large of bowl volume with low head clearance vs the characteristics of an engine which has the correct bowl volume but running too high of head clearance? What would that engine sound like/how would it affect the plug on rich vs lean runs? What are the trade-offs from the aforementioned combos, HP, RPM, etc? This is in relation to a .21 engine running 60-65% nitro.
Also I've heard a lot about guys using brass as head button material. What would be noticed by switching to a head button made out of brass in the exact same dimensions as a stock head button (same bowl, head clearance, etc) vs the stock aluminum that most engine manufacturers use?
Thanks in advance!
