Bit costly? Not trying to bash but have you priced software as of late? Software prices are through the roof. Besides if you can learn to read an engine, and you can do your own motor work, it will be saving you money in the long run. Just my 2 cents worth

seems a bit costly
330T,

Really? You think so? As opposed to burning a several hundred bucks turning P/S sets into paperweights, the cost of the EAP is pretty cheap, if you ask me. There are a couple hundred members of this forum that will attest that it is the most valuable tool in their shop. Or you can send your engines to someone like Geraghty or (at one time) Orlic (not that they don't know what they are doing or that they don't offer a valuable service), along with around $200 each, and STILL never understand what they did or why it works. Your choice.............

There aren't ten people on this forum who know as much about these little engines as Marty has forgotten, and it's all in the EAP.

Thanks. Brad.

Its been a pleasure being around Marty at the lake,My only problem is I quit driving and start listening too much when he speaks to me on the drivers stand  kidding,I always pay attention when he's giving this newbie tips B)

The EAP is probably the single most important, time saving tool I have in my shop.

I have been using it almost daily for 11 years.

Marty has done a great job of putting this info in a format that's available to most boaters. I should add that he did it years before the others started to copy it. This spreadsheet's formulae are being emulated (copied) by folks that can put the info into a better graphics format, but Marty did it first. Boaters lead the way. I've found all the results in the spreadsheet give solid data and I continue to use it because is spits out solid data.......…… no frills...just good (should be a beer commercial)

Well worth the cost given Marty and Brian's (and Q.U.B's) time to give this to the other 95%. I figure it's a gift to you at that price…..If you use it and don't pay for it that makes you a hack by definition.

KB <----one post left, I didnt waste this one :) .....Sorry to see the Aussies dissapear from this forum....shame
