What things do you do to keep your Dremel tool running well?

What kind of maintenance should I perform?

Thanks,

Snowdog

Don't cover the air vents, run it as fast as the job will permit, and don't cut carbon fiber!

One of the biggest maintenance items is the brushes. You might have to change them every 5 years or so. I had one Dremel that lasted me about 20 years with a lot of use and I bought it used from a friend!

About CF, I haven't had any problems yet but I haven't done a whole lot of work with it. I was cutting some on a table saw last week and broke out in a nasty rash though.
