Hi guys! I spent a few hours over the summer setting up a tunnel for friends to play with so everyone could have a try when we went to the pond. I didn't have a hi torque servo to set it up with, so I used a standard Futaba servo just for setting up the cables. I usually use Hi tech servos( they are the same size) and planned to buy one for this rig. When the day came, I bolted in the new Hi Tech, hi torque servo fresh from the hobby shop and to the pond we went.
After telling a buddy about how easy it was to get started and how it was pretty simple to set up the radio gear, I started the boat and threw it in the water. My friend added about 3/4 throttle and starter a tight right turn..................and there it stayed........ round and round and round ............. After the embarassment, we figured out the Futaba servo arm I used to set things up with didn't exactly fit the Hi Tech servo. It all looks good on the bench. but a little field testing proved otherwise. This may be common Knowlege to most of you, but it sure suprised me!
