CMB 91HRs

Was wondering if anyone on this inter web ever had any luck with the 91HRs before the VACs came along. what pipe did you find worked and props for the riggers be twin or single. Just thinking about putting some NIB engines to work in the F hydro class.

Tom,

I am currently running the 91HR. Still a very competitive engine (with light modification) in my opinion. You can install a VAC front housing on your HR if you want.

1667 prop is my favorite.

Yes, more reliable engines in my opinion. Some mods on the drum will get more power.

Henry, You hit the nail on the head, although sometimes they chase him too. LOL

It's called thinking with the wrong head volume. 34DDD I suspect.

The remodel on the new home is starting to gain some momentum. I should be moved in by the end of July. It will be nice to have a garage / work shop again......
