When is my twin ready

I did some thinking and to be honest, first need a talk with the OB bunch before I start building one

Or shall I buy one?

Options......

Ronald.

Thats interesting Ronald... brings a whole new meaning to "hit the buoy".......ahhhh never mind!

After an all night marathon finalizing a few things, the fleet is headed to the states in the morning....

3 rolls of tape, and almost 30 pounds of just packing material and boxes!

You guys better stop dragging your feet, already over 120 entries (!!!!) and still have a couple weeks left!

RACE ALERT

Guys,

A number of recent entries that have just been received that have the checks or money orders written out to Bobby Halliday. The race entry flyer VERY CLEARLY states to make them out to the Charleston Model Boaters. It causes significant amount of work for us to re-direct those funds and then the accountability of the money received becomes a nightmare. So help us out and

Write the check out to the Charleston Model Boaters.

ENTRY DEADLINE IS MARCH 15TH so do not delay. That is just 2 weeks away and we have exceeded 120 entries as of yesterday.

For weather information, use the Walterboro, SC zip code of 29488, as your point of reference.

Race website for the latest information is located HERE

Read directions on the entry form??? What's that all about??? Last time I asked for directions, I was told "where to go." ;) The wife is going to make flight reservations for me. There's directions that need to be followed to do it on-line. And, well, you know some of us are about asking for directions.

JD

Jerry,

Let me help you out with the directions.....At the end of each straightaway turn left!

Turn left? I didn't know we were running a reverse course. Well, at least I have three weeks to practice making left turns. Thanks Mark, I really appreciate knowing in advance which direction we're racing.

JD

Mark's used to turning left to bring the boat back to shore after his numerous lane infractions or bouy cuts

Oh well, my file copy says to make the checks out to the club but the posted flyers do not. Darn computers. My error. Anyway, guys, for those that are still to enter, make them out to the club. For those that did not do it, all is forgiven, until the race, when you jump the start!!! LOL

Mike Rushing

3.5cc O/B Sport-Stock Tunnel

3.5cc Mod O/B Tunnel

7.5cc Sport-Stock O/B Tunnel

That will add 13 boats to the mix. Now if we can get wade there, we should have a blast!

I will be mailing these entries in to you by the weeks end.

Talley will be bringing his new 3.5cc Sport Inboard/Outboard Hydro. it is fairly quick...he now has it buzz'n a squeek over 60+MPH. He did a great job designing and building that model! It is the current record holder in that class at 58mph and some change.

Thanks!

We can add Wade to the team. He called me a short while ago to discuss channels for Sport 20, B Tunnel and 40 Tunnel classes. He is coming and is mailing his entry by Friday. The Rowdy Boys will be complete! Look out guys.

Gonna have to have your "stuff" together to place well in this one!

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank VERY much the support of the Model boating community over here in Australia.

A while back I decided to get some shirts made up with a couple of sponsors to go on the sleeves to make them look more 'Proffesional' anyway 7 people stood up and said they would help me out (I was only planning on around 3-4) Yes there are MANY more GREAT buisnesses over here in Aus that are doing GREAT things for the hobby, but these great sponsors were quick to jump on board to help me out.

OMC Racing

STEG Engineering (Who I work for)

Performance Hobbies Australia

Salisbury Power Pipes

SA Model Powerboats

ELECTRO Racing

CoCr Racing Propellers

ARC Fabrications

SO A BIG THANKS to these guys for putting your money where your mouth is!
