You also have to consider your power supply. How many amps is the one you have?
I beleve these smart chargers are min. 15 amps. So x 2 =30amp power supply full power. I could be wrong though i only made it to pre algebra.
I do believe DC is the way.
Airplane Cooks like the AC because where they fly usually is set up with multiple general purpose outlets.
Boats seem to be rural settings.

I've run a lot of Hyperion chargers. They can charge two packs at 10 amps each. They need a serious power supply to do that. We were only able to charge our electric hydro batteries at 5 amps because that's all the two generators we had could support. My Honda generator can only support two chargers charging 4 - 4S packs at 10 amps.
