Started on it Christmas weekend I didn’t like the servo mounts hard to get them screwed in so I went with my standard servo cross mounts I always make.Using a oiler so I modified the stuffing tube mount.I hate gas bags so I used the Sullivan vee hull tank with removable cross brace. On the scratch built slingshot Adam bought a zipkitts cowl we were going to cut for cmb then he found the Ellison cowl so the cowl was left over.I like the cowl to fit inside of tub so I didn’t use the skin piece at front of nose I epoxied the cut out in slotted the former for a tongue to fit in.I also sanded the transom back a 1/32 and capped it off with 1/32 plywood.Let me know what you think about the zipkitts cowling.I used 2 oz fiberglass in the the tub for for tank area and engine bay.
