Beginning to build Extreme Gas 173/MHR8700

After completing two 1/8 scale wooden kit, a Miss Bardahl & a Smokin' Joe's, successfully.

I am about to begin building the ML Boatwork Extreme Gas 173.MHR8700 kit, the gas boat will have a cowling from RC Boat Company to fit. My plan is to put a Castle Peak 2028 motor to run 12S.

Can any one tell me what sort of Jig I should use to hold it down while building.

Gilbert, that is a 3 piece design hull, meaning you can build the center section separate from the sponsons. A nice flat board is all you need...I sugest granite if you have access. Mike

Thanks, Mike, I am not able to obtain any granite, probably have a piece of cabin door to hold the job.
