Baltimore Model Boat Club 36th annual Spring race 2013

Thanks to the Baltimore Club for a great time. The generosity of the D12 members both in knowledge and hardware is inspiring. Great driving this weekend as always (minus my unfortunate mishap with Mike in offshore). The new members also did a great job driving and their boats were fast.

John and Robin, What a blast I had running gas rigger with you guys for the first time. With some set up tips from Don, the Road Runner ran like a dream first time out. Ralph builds a great boat! It was an 11 on the fun meter!!

And Kudos to little Chilli who took first in B/P-Lim Tunnel and Hydro. After a tough time last weekend at trials, he really stepped up his game this weekend. I'm proud of him!

Thanks to all who came and raced,watched, or were spectators. We had a fun weekend,the club thanks everyone involved in the event. We look forward to seeing everyone in 3 weeks at the Delmarva race!

Results......... good time for all. Great weather, great friends and Four heats of racing.

Chilli was an animal! He did what Mike Butler told him to do.......raced the rigger like he stole it! Ha ha!

I enjoyed running the buoys with a rigger again in District 12.

thanx to the baltimore club for a fun weekend to kick off 2013 in d-12 ! got to see some old friends & made some new ones. great weekend of racing, good driving by a large group of new racers. i was impressed......special thanx to mike butler for some guidance & a prop my gas rigger liked . & to don ferrette, who i could hear in the background, encouraging me through heat #4 sunday morning, when my rigger was running better than it had all weeekend (hey, it helped!) :lol: . see ya'll in queenstown.
