I remained suprised that the unlimiteds dont go interntional. Extending a series to europe should provide more opportunites for sponsors and spectators.

Do what? They don't enough money to race here, much less an International event. HP is all but dead in my opinion, just a matter of time before they go belly up.

The future is automotive powered hydroplanes, not Turbines.

Why not have the best of both worlds? Run an unlimited piston/rotary class and a totally unlimited class which would be the turbines. The top 3 or 4 finishers in the piston/rotary race would automatically advance to the true unlimited final with the turbines. This way you could still call the sport unlimited and give the top auto powered teams a shot at the tubines if they wanted it. This would also make for more entries per event.
